GRADE 8 FRENCH TEST - MAY 8 AND 9

The test for our current unit, Chasse aux indices, will take place over two days - May 8th and 9th.

May 8th will be the reading comprehension portion. You will be given a text to read and will be allowed to use your notes, vocab lists and the lexique at the back of the textbook to determine the meaning of the text and help you answer the reading comprehension questions. Don't forget about the difference between mots amis and faux amis.

May 9th will be the grammar portion of the test. It will include les adjectifs possessifs, le passé composé des verbes reguliers (ER, IR, RE) and le passé composé des verbes irréguliers (you must memorize the 13 participe passés from the chart).

The test will include thinking, communication and application questions.

You may take your binder home at any time to study - just be sure to bring it with you to class daily.

If you would like to take a textbook home, please sign one out with Mme Tate.
